 Fireworks in Poland
« Thread Started on Jul 20, 2012, 10:25pm »

Is today a holiday in Poland?? I saw on a virtual weather site fireworks being shot off in the rain. I wondered what the occasion was...

Hmm, 20 July... Nothing official. It might be a local festival. Where is the webcam located?

It's in Tomaszow Boleslawiecki. (I think...Forgive my ignorance if that's not a place. :))

Aaa, the village where storks are filmed.

They had a local firefighting festival there.

Well, that is interesting to know! Thanks for solving the mystery for me!! :)

By the way, can you tell me where in Poland that village is located?
I tried to look it up, but maybe it is too small to be on a map???

Nothing is too small to be ignored by the map: :D :D :D :D :D
http://www.zumi.pl/namapie.html?qt=&loc=....e=all&cId=&sId=

Whenever you need to locate sth in Poland, use zumi.pl

When you zoom out, you will see it is in the south west of Poland.
