It really goes with the titles of parts of the story: THE FELONSHIP OF THE RING, THE TWO TOWELS, THE RETURN OF THE KINK. Um, I think that last one would definitely receive more than a PG-13 rating... Yes, I agree, there is a lot of violence in this part when the kink tries really hard to satisfy his desire for power... That is why I haven`t allowed my kids to watch any part of ŁOTR in ful.

What did kindergarten kids have in mind here?or here? They look as though they might be interpretations of fairy tales, but I am not certain which ones. Oh, there are so many possibilities... ;D It looks as though they are changing their clothes/shoes and getting out climbing gear in preparation for climbing up the rock cliff.

Yes, of course fairy tales, kids are 6 year old. But which fairy tales??? A clue - one is connected with Krakow... Yes, correct. BTW, what are the other possibilities?

BTW, what are the other possibilities? Just a joke...I was referring to the many possible reasons as to why the man would be undressing in public. And no, I will not elaborate on that!

Hey, for an American woman you sound a bit inhibited... Yes, of course fairy tales, kids are 6 year old. But which fairy tales??? A clue - one is connected with Krakow... It's got to be something to do with slaying the dragon of Krakow. Yes, the fairy tale of the Wawel Dragon. But what about the other photo? What about the possibilities concerning the guy taking the photos of the man undressing in public??? hahahahahahahahahaha Don`t you already know that I am a neutral observer of life around me? I remained completely disengaged from what the guy was doing!

The guy in the middle with the red shirt and vest is the sheriff...He has his badge on! ;D ;D Yes, he looks like a sheriff... Did I go to America to take a photo of him? More riddles: What are the bums watching? Where can you see such coats-of-arms? What`s this jewellery made of? What is the man doing? Why have people gathered there? What are they?

Yes, he looks like a sheriff... Did I go to America to take a photo of him? Probably not... ;D Is it a rodeo or an American wild west show in Poland? These are "bums"? I would not have guessed that. They appear to be sitting on a large statue, so maybe they are watching a city center performance of some kind? I can't tell what kind... Malbork Castle? Are some of the pieces amber? Posing on a train car? Waiting to enter a museum? Figures in the Grunwald Monument?

Is it a rodeo or an American wild west show in Poland? No, worse. The Truck Picnic. ;D They are high class bums who operate in posh Market Square. But it doesn`t change the fact they are little drunkards... Yes, the statue of Adam Mickiewicz, watching some show... Nope, Sukiennice. I think they are all made of amber. Even this green necklace... Yes, good! hahahaha nope. Yes, very good.

Truckers` carnival. And a little like a circus too.... The men, and I am sure, are watching the HOT WOMEN on the street. Mike, you have women deep under your skin...

It means that if you don't look out, you can get hit in the ass by a car.

It means that if you don't look out, you can get hit in the ass by a car. Mike, you crack me up! ;D ;D ;D And technically you are correct. The word "wypadki" means "accidents", and this sign lets you know that it is an area with frequent pedestrian hits. Apparently there are two others similar accident warning signs - one warning of a collision-prone area (the sign shows two smashed up cars) and the other warning that people have driven into the river (the sign shows a car flying into the river). Wow, between the possible accidents and the speeding Bonobos, driving in Poland seems a bit treacherous...

btw, where is Bonobo? Didn't he say 'off to sea-shore for around the week'?? Around the week is long ago over. Or maybe they extended their leave due to marvellous weather. I hope to see him back and see at least some of the pics before we leave

btw, where is Bonobo? Didn't he say 'off to sea-shore for around the week'?? Around the week is long ago over. It will be a week tomorrow (not that I'm counting the days or anything). Ok fine, I kind of miss him... We are planning to leave tomorrow for the seaside, for a week at least. I don't think I have ever had a vacation with an open-ended return date. Lucky him! Based on the pictures he posted from last year, I can see that it would be difficult to leave... Are you going on vacation soon? Where will you be traveling to?

I don't think I have ever had a vacation with an open-ended return date. Lucky him! Based on the pictures he posted from last year, I can see that it would be difficult to leave... Leaving wasn`t difficult. We knew the weather would get dull at the weekend.... Besides, open-ended holidays are the best. You are free to stay if you like it or leave if not. I would hate a situation when I paid for my holidays in advance and then I stopped liking the place or food or anything.... Wow, between the possible accidents and the speeding Bonobos, driving in Poland seems a bit treacherous... Read this comment from Brad: My favourite signs are the speed limit signs. Poland is the only country in the EU where the drivers apparently assume the signs are posted in MPH rather than KPH …and still manage to break the speed limits.

Why is there a monument near Krakow marking the site where the border between Russian and Austrian partition was? What is this and why?

Gigi, the open-end vacation is the essence, the taste, the core of having a real vacation Yes, my vacation started already, we've spent the last 6 days at Mazury lakes (north-eastern Poland) on the boat. We are back home now, next week we are leaving for Liechtenstein and Switzerland and then to Tuscany. I have a very busy week ahead, I will be back in the forum at the end of August (no open-end here unfortunately). All the best to all of you.

Gigi, the open-end vacation is the essence, the taste, the core of having a real vacation It sounds wonderful! I would definitely be willing to give it a try! I have to admit that I am very envious of your vacations. I fell in love with Switzerland in 1995, and someday I hope to be able to visit my recently discovered family who still live there. I have always wanted to go to Italy, and now that I have verified my family's Italian roots I want to go even more. And then there is Poland, a country that I don't think I ever really knew until I joined this forum. I find that I am fascinated by the beauty, the history, and the culture of Poland. I'll find my way there as well! We will look forward to your return at the end of August. Mają dobrą podróż!

Looks like cranberries. Have they been put in hot water to soften them up? If they were cranberries, this bath tub would be perfect for the seventh dwarf, but not a full-size man like me. ;D ;D ;D ;D It is fruit but not cranberries. Thanks for trying.
