Do the people of Poland care? What actions are they taken to change things? You can call Al Gore, and for a high fee, he will give his good for nothing advise, again, for a high fee. We now found out, that this is just a load of bunk, made up for there own benefits. We can not change things that God has made, and never will be able to. This is what he wants for us, and nothing can be done to change it. And most of the world does not even care.

I am not sure if mankind is actually responsbile for global warming, I am not even sure if global warming actually happens. However I cannot exclude neither. On the other hand I am sure that mankind has influence on the environment and that it is per saldo negative. Thus it is good to do as much as can be done to diminish this negative influence. I think there actually is a great job to be done in this respect, especially by those who have heavily polluted Earth since many, many years.

Btw. it was conduxted by Economist Intelligence Unit, and sponsored by a huge international firm coming originally from Germany, Siemens. A very 'ecology conscious' company and a good example to follow in this respect also in the USA I guess...

The one thing I do know, it all this fuss, is making Al Gore a richer man than he is now. Over one hundred private jets flew into this meeting, and over a thousand limo. were used for this. Where are there carbon footprints? What a waste. The world in full is not behind it, many of the worst offenders do not want any part of it. How do we force them? They could care less. The college in England, was caught falseafilling records, and many other have done this, for there own gain.

Tufta,
I think you are a smart man, how can you believe all this bunk? I am sure, we, the people of the world do waste and litter, and things of this type, but we can't effect the weather, if we wanted to.

Do the people of Poland care? What actions are they taken to change things? Mike Not much. Poles have other worries, we are still 30 years behind Western Europe in terms of general development and standard of living. E.g., people burn their trash in the open air instead of having it taken by garbage services. polandsite.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=customs&action=display&thread=611

And that is why these countries oppose the new green regulations most.

Open fires don't hurt anything. We have a fire pit, in my back yard, and have camp fires, where all the neighbors get together, and set and talk. This is not against the law here, and we don't hurt anyone or anything. They won't let you burn your leafs, from the lawn, and now they don't want to pick them up, they say, the landfill won't take them.

When they wear off, you traditionally burn them in your backyard. Surely, smoke from two matresses is more dangerous than from one.

Mike Yes I too hate what they did to Poland and great people of Poland . But maybe you could address this dislike to those who actually did it - to the grandfathers of living Germans, Mike. Badgering the living Poles and American with your dislike bears the signs of some absurd compulsion. Please, please do stop it.
