Trzebiatów [tʂɛˈbjatuf] (German: Treptow an der Rega) is a town in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland. As of June 2007, it has 10,196 inhabitants.
It was in Pomerania, Germany until 1945.
The most splendid celebration is placed in the first week of August and it's called "Trzebiatowskie Święto Kaszy"(Trzebiatów's Day of the Cereal). It's memorial to day when the town guard by mistake dropped the bowl of cereal at the upcoming enemies from the town Gryfice alarming whole town and as the matter of fact - saving it. Inhabitants of Trzebiatów celebrating that event by dances, concerts, competitions and eating a lot of cereal with ham and bacon of course.
