My father's two sisters' families (they were the children of Polish immigrants)had summer houses (we called them "cottages")by the seashore when I was growing up. They bought second-hand furniture to furnish them and they painted the items in a similar manner as this kind of painting(though not as professional!) I'm sure they learned it from their Polish mother (my grandmother) and other Polish friends and relatives. They would refer to the rooms as "the blue room" or the "yellow room" depending on the background color of the furniture in that room!
Ahhh!...fond memories of my childhood!

It is happening, or gonna happen, in our summer house, too. Some kids` rooms are called Rainbow, Marine and African, because of the wall decor inside.

No, I only feel I`m getting older so I`m running out of time, hence I bring in shortened Am English occasionally. I thought it`s OK.
