In my wildest dreams I could not imagine that it would be possible to create such things with knitting...(actually, though, it looks like crocheting), but knitting or crocheting, these are amazing creations and amazing feats!!

I can tell the difference by looking at the stitches, and FYI, knitting is done using two knitting needles and crocheting is done using one crochet hook. Crocheting goes much faster than knitting. p.s. It looks like your typing skills are fading...you should be sleeping now!

Oops!! When I tried crochety and knitting once, it was a disaster. Now I know - I used obsolete equipment! Yes, if you used the items in your image, I'd say you were in big trouble! "Inappropriate" or "incorrect" would be a better words; I don't know how knitting needles or crochet hooks could become "obsolete" no matter how old they were!

They WERE obsolete because my granny had brought them from the Soviet Union shortly after WW2. They used a different technique there, you know.

No, I didn't know they used a different technique there...I would be interested in finding out more if you are being serious...knitting with needles is an ancient, universal art, I believe...
