The last position on our itinerary for the end of summer holiday was Wiślica, a town founded by medieval king Casimir the Great in 14 century. The cathedral and a few other buildings there are as old as hills.
The gigantic cathedral is well visible from every point in the town.
An unusual sight, a stork nest (working) in the center of the town!
Jan Długosz, a famous Polish chronicler, used to live in Wiślica.
Unfortunately, the town itself is underdeveloped. In fact, it is a big village. Most houses are small and poor.
