[ It seems I always end up liking something in the background details when I see photos like these. This is my favorite photo with the foot-pedal-powered sewing machine! That is so cool...one does not get to see many of these machines now a days, but "everyone's" grandma or great-grandma had them not so long ago! (One of my Polish aunts had one that I well remember!)
p.s. I like the dog, too!

Indeed, you have a knack for spotting details in the background.

Sorry, but because of your diligence, there is frequently a gazillion recent posts, and I don't always have to time to look at every one! I tend to be selective and view only those titles which appear to match my interests! But I'm happy you are posting a lot...I'm not complaining, just explaining! I apologize for not being the perfect forum member!...my human-ness gets in the way!

I tend to be selective and view only those titles which appear to match my interests! Aaah, now I know why you sometimes miss the posts with topics I am sure you are usually interested in. It is because one board may contain a few new posts but only the latest is visible on the screen. If you check this latest one only, then the rest goes unnoticed. Aaaah, now I know why all of a sudden you return to old posts which were loaded long time ago. Never mind. Sooner or later, you will see and read all posts.

The ugliness and resulting depressive atmosphere of this place is amazing. A housing estate in Turkey. Funny it was designed to be owned by well-off people.

Cool pics! Especially liked the bridge held up by hands and the squirrel reaching for the nut.

one board may contain a few new posts but only the latest is visible on the screen. Yes, I have just noticed this as I have posted a couple of times now on the same board, but realised only the last post can be seen. Reminds one of the rodent who strives to get its nut in Ice Age series cartoons. I haven't seen any of the Ice Age cartoons unfortunately.....
