The news about scandalous events by young people on school trips from Israel to death camp museums located in Poland has become sort of regular.

Well, I think it is signum temporis. Nowadays, young people feel free to do what they deem worth doing, mostly for fun and positive comments from their mates on Facebook. Nothing is sacred anymore and it is going to be much worse in the future.
And the fact the above mentioned are from Israel means nothing, it could be youth from any country. I remember how my students on a school trip to Warsaw tried to hang and swing on giant figures in the Warsaw Rising monument.

I totally agree. Such behavior is inexcusable and demonstrates ignorance. Sadly, I take some comfort that it is not just in the US that things like this happen, but it is now worldwide, probably because technology has made the world so much smaller. A pity that this particular type of behavior has become a unifying common factor in the worldwide community today.
