Another source for transcribed parish records: www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~polwgw/polandarchives.htmlThere are also a few ship passenger lists. In the "War Memorial" section there is some data about those who perished during wartime, including heartbreaking details of some who were killed at Stutthof Concentration Camp.

I have found many villages near Krakow where I used to teach in 1990s or went to English summer camps there. I also found this: www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~polwgw/archives/koninmem.htmlMemorial to the Teachers in the Powiat of Konin Killed During the War 1939-1945 NAME Stanisław Ciesiołkiewicz Wiktor Dybczak Władysława Fagasińska Feliks Fagasiński Marian Fajfer Henryk Grabowski Henryk Heidrych Wacław Jedynski Edward Klemczyński Michał Kobylinski Kazimierz Majewsaki Marian Malawski Józef Pecherski Kazimierz Purolczak Stefan Rybarczyk Piotr Smarzyński Józef Stachowicz Andrzej Stefaniak Franciszek Swoszowski Konin is a medium size town in Poland.
