Where are the wind farms shown in you photo's at, near what city, and are they helping keep cost down for power. Mike
Mike, they certainly allow to cut down on cost of power. If they didn`t, they wouldn`t be there. The village of Gniewino. There is also a power station which uses the force of falling water. An artificial lake was built. During the day water goes down, at night it is transported through pipes up again.
I had to dive a few meters to dig them out from the bottom of the lake. My sons wanted to grill them for lunch, but I didn`t agree. No killing animals for food - the only exception is carp at Christmas.
"Atrial home' near Opole, Poland, the best house in the world according to World Architecture News portal
At the risk of offending the architect/builder of this structure, (and I hope it's not you, Tufta!) this is a very ugly house. If I were fortunate enough to go to Poland, I would want to feel that I was living in POLAND, not is some outpost in outer-space!
