Great you mentioned this topic. I am always short of time to put sport in threads. I am a little interested. I always read articles about him. It is nice to hear that Robert is doing so well. His fans This year BMW racing car is said to be equal to rival teams` cars. So far it was worse. I know he is from Kraków. His father introduced him to gocarts when Roberts was 6. Then he climbed up to the top and won everything in Poland. When he was 16, his father allowed him to dump school because it took too much time. Now Robert earns 2 million$ and it`s only the beginning. A few months ago he had an accident which looked really fatal, but he was untouched.

went to work today mentiontion the good work that that the Polish new comer had done it was returned by the usual comments.I cannot define What they are saying. You Bonobo as a teacher might be able to say I dont think they are being racist i hope they are not your view is appreciated They make fun at his appearance and particularly his nose i at school asyoung boy was made fun of for having a Polish nose. I have over come those emotion once my nose was measured with metal calipers in a metal work class the teacher announced to the class i would get sent straight to the gas chamber. This was really said glad i wasn't a kid with a chip on my shoulder

Some Poles display Semitic features without being Jews. The same works the other way round - e.g., there have been blond Jews. Well, it all mixed through centuries. As for this gas chamber, I wouldn`t treat it as derogatory. It was just a neutral statement based on war experience.

bonobo, i thought you didn't care for racing of any kind? hmmm what gives? Loco, you should realise that in case of sport the borderline between my duties of an administrator and my personal interests is a bit vague. Besides, I gladly spare some time to Kubica without being fond of the racing itself. I am interested in Kubica as a man, not in racing. I don`t care about the technical characteristics of the cars, I am fully ignorant on how many laps there are. It is just recently when I realised that the formula race takes place in two stages: the race of drivers on track and the race of mechanics in boxes. But I certainly want to know how Kubica rose to the top and what qualities contributed to it. Is he really talented and races for fun or his success is a result of hard work and years of training? Do you mean what I know?

And sports reporters use both names interchangeably.

Today Robert Kubica won his first Formula One race and teammate Nick Heidfeld came across second in a surprising Montreal Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon. David Couthard, in the Red Bull, was third, to score his first points of the season. Kubica's victory was set up by an early race incident that saw McLaren's Lewis Hamilton pile into the back of Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen while the latter waited for the red light to go green so they could leave the pit lane. Both were knocked out. The Polish driver moves into first place in the driver's championship, and BMW is now a point behind Ferrari in the constructor's battle. His victory is even more greater as he crashed his car in the same place exactly a year ago. He was lucky to be alive then. Congratulations Robert.

Poland is always in first place. Good luck. Now we lead in formula 1, and the world in all.

Poland is always in first place. Good luck. Now we lead in formula 1, and the world in all. A new joke was created. Why did Kubica drive so fast? Because he was in a hurry to watch the soccer match of the Polish national team. Unfortunately, they lost 2:0 .

Kubica had an accident after another driver crashed into his pod. Nothing serious happened but Kubica lost a great chance for a medal.
