HAPPY ALL SAINTS DAY TO ONE AND ALL. Mike Mike, Poles don`t say this. Bonobo, This is why I thought Poles would have some traditional greeting for the day...something somber for those who have died, yet joyful that they now have eternal life...perhaps some kind of blessing.

What wish would you give on this date? One that does not upset others, I hope.

This is to certify the undersigned tu-f- ta has had a great pleasure watching the presented photos in this and other memory-related threads Tufta, I hope you don't mind me asking...what is the meaning behind your nick? I see that you often reference it as tu-f-ta. Do you associate it with a tuft of sth, e..g, a tuft of grass, hair etc?? I do. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hi, just wanted to say hi to all of you. Nice forum full of pics. Maja from Poland Hi Maja, Welcome to the forum. It is very nice to have another native Pole! The more views we can get on a subject, the easier it is for us "foreigners" to understand the people of Poland, their beautiful country, and culture! (and that's why we're here on this forum!)

I live and study in Lublin; it's in the south-east part of Poland Excellent - in-between Warsaw and Krakow! It will be very helpful to have a "neutral" party when Bonobo (Krakow) and Tufta (Warsaw) have discussions on the merits of their respective cities. ;D

Hello Everybody: I am new in here. I do not know how to use this forum. Victoria, Well, you seem to be doing okay! Just read the threads, enjoy the photos, and if you have something to say, make a comment! No pressure, just enjoy and learn. Are you a native Pole, a person of Polish descent, or just an interested party? All are welcome.
