I'm happy, (Yes, almost always!) and I'm from Holland. I've been lurking around for a few seconds, and well, suffice to say I like the place! I'm looking forward to participate and to learn a little more about Poland and its culture..
..and its people! (I'm a people's person.)

It is nice you have found time to drop by though you are busy in another site. Yes, posts with pictures are our forum`s specialty. I would even say real-life photo stories are our obsession. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Probably you have already discovered it but in case not, I am taking the liberty of informing you that at the bottom of the screen there is a button VIEW LAST 100 POSTS in the forum.

So ... the newest member ... Dutch (42) living and working in the Netherlands during the week and spending his weekends in Wroclaw.
Can work 4 days of 9 hours, so Friday is my day off. Then take the plane, enjoy my weekend with my wife.
On Monday log on to my work's network in the morning when my wife goes to work at 0730, work for a couple of hours, take the plane back home and continue working when at home.
So that's MY connection with Poland. Hope to have some interesting discussions here.

Call me Bonobo. I am a species of an ape. Intelligent and playful. Don`t mind too much if I play tricks on you from time to time. Hello Bonobo, I am an Irish man living and working in the south of Poland. This is the second forum I have ever joined and I'm not great with computers but I will figure it out...eventually cool smilies I am not sure what some of them mean but I won't let that stop me from using them I am going to use this post to explore the different[glow=red,2,300] functions[/glow] [shadow=red,left,300]as I am not[/shadow] to them. Here is a video I made last year: sup?teletype?code? Cool, what does [glow=red,2,300]"Glow"[/glow] do? I will be back on this forum as I am sick of the other one I joined. I'll do some exploring and see you all later.

This is the greatest group you can join, and wish you post often, and tell us more on yourself. Some days are slow, others are great, but we have the best photo's around. Enjoy you day, and post often.

Hello, Sean. It took you a long time to speak up after having registered here. But we have been waiting patiently. ;D ;D ;D ;D Krakow, that is. Yes, we know each other from Polish forums. Who got on your nerves this time? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Currently I have also limited my activity there. My main interest is to talk about Poland through photo stories. I used to paste my best posts from here, but PF`s strange policy of including photos into posts eventually put me off as it got too painstaking. Prepare for a lot of pictures. I hope your computer will take it like a man. Here is a video I made last year: I know this road to Zakopane. Nice views. Why a French song in the background? ;D ;D ;D ;D The thread about Zakopane is here: polandsite.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=cities&action=display&thread=896PS. If you need to learn about some functions: TIPS

;D I live south of Krakow in the Beskidy mountains in a place called Myslenice. I love it here, it's near krakow and Zakopane [/blockquote][/quote] I am just sick of all the trash talk, it's pointless, nobody learns anything and it just seems like the same discussions over and over... I always love your photos. It will take me a while to set up a photobucket account and upload some of my photos but I will, when I have the chance. Can I upload from Fliker? I love photos, so bring it on! I live on this road, well sort of. And why the French music? I don't know, it just seems to fit Thanks. Edit* It looks like it's gonna take a while before I can use this site properly

Edit* It looks like it's gonna take a while before I can use this site properly You only used one unneccessary [/quote] at the end of the post. I corrected it. So, when quoting, put [ quote ] at the beginning and [ /quote ] at the end. That`s all. Can I upload from Fliker? Yes. E.g., Myślenice? A nice town.

Yes, I will probably start a thread about Myslenice after I understand this forum better. There is a castle ruin here from 1399 and lots to see and do, lots of mountain treks and forest. Thank you for the welcome. I love the amount of photos on this forum, a virtual feast for the eyes And I'm glad to here there is a different vibe in here, I hope I will contribute in a positive way. I am a fan of the internet, it is the largest library ever known to man and I wish to learn and contribute to it. I am still very lost on this forum but i will figure it out, with practice (I hope)

If you have your own photos, you can put them in Neverending Story category, Cities and towns board: polandsite.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=citiesif the photos are not yours, you can put them in Poland through Viewfinder board: polandsite.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=photographsfrompoland Come on, every forum needs some trolling. A forum without a troll or two is like a soldier without a rifle. ;D ;D ;D Ask whenever you want.

Hello I am posting from the UK and was sent the link for your forums from a Polish online friend. I am English but have an interest in Poland and plan to visit this year for my holidays :-) Hello jules and welcome! I am an American of Polish descent (and also, on my mother's side, of English descent!), living in the northeast part of the U.S. I see from your profile that you are a woman...hooray! We do not have enough women on this forum, so I hope you stick around! Also, I hope that you do get the opportunity to visit Poland on your holidays...to do so is a dream of mine! Jeanne

Julies,
First off, welcome to the best group there is. Tell us more on yourself.
Next, you will love Poland, and don't need to be able to speak Polish. I don't, and have been there a few times, and want to go back. You will not want to come home.

happy and stu,
(Translation: happy and stu,
Welcome to this forum Polish culture. I went to this forum from another Polish forum, because I knew Bonobo and Tufta from there, and since this forum is really dedicated to Poland. I hope that you feel at home here. I will only communicate in English, so that our fellow forum members don't feel excluded). Welcome!
Pieter
PS I read this too late to timely respond (I usually only see or directly go to topics that appeal to me in the Forum)
