Hey, guys from America, what do you think about the election results? We already know Mike`s opinion: We the good people of the U.S.A. have won this election, now the American Dream will again start up, to the good ways of the past. We sent a message to them, those who don't care what happens to America, that we, still care, and will change things, soon. Next we get rid of this president, and this will also come in time. Mike

Hey, guys from America, what do you think about the election results? I am pleased with the results...however I feel that the ousting of Democrats is just a "knee-jerk" reaction to the mess that the failing economy has made in our country. Every time things are not going well, the electorate responds by "voting the bums out." (which is a good thing), but I don't think it's any indication that the country as a whole is changing the way it thinks. If the incumbent president and the majority of Congress had been Republican, then, of course, the Democrats would have been victorious! In other words, I think the people of the U.S. are simply in the mood (a nasty one) for change and it does not necessarily indicate that they are all ready to sign up for the Republican Party. Please note, this response if out of character for me, as I hate discussing politics...

If the people of the great U.S.A. would have voted with minds in the last election, we would not be in the spot we are today. So, we the Americans must work to help the new, good guys work out the problems that we now have. They, the new leaders can't do any worst than the ones they replace. Just give them time to undo all the wrongs, of the old congress. They can with all of our help.

On her site, you must be a liberal, or, like me, out you go. She will not stand for another side, other than hers. I know, she got rid of me, and I don't miss that group at all. They are a group of closed minded people. I can be liberal, but not when they want there way, and only there way. I try and look at both side of everything, but they won't.

Hmmm...doesn't appear there are...but there are plenty on Jaga's forum!! ;D That's why I like to check out both Forums. If the Americans present here are more independant conservatives and Republicans. Democrats and liberals on the other Forum and Conservatives on this Forum. That's interesting.

Yes I remember conservatists on the other forum. I remember also that they were kind of ... ridiculed? Are there any there still? Besides, Pieter, I don't think Bo's forum is a good source of views about USA, as this is only marginal subject here. Thus it does not matter that much of what political options the American participants are. The forum simply deals mainly with matters according to its title. In contrats to the other forum which deals mainly with Americans issues - as seen by the American democrats mainly plus a German and Russian national, (who when they lack arguments call people 'simple thrash' or 'idiot' btw) a who are not very well informed about Poland and never been here, neither do they even live in Europe. I am afraid you are the only European there, Pieter. represent us in a dignified manner please ;D ;D

Jaga's group, is very closed minded, and you can't speak your mind, like here. That is why this group is the greatest. She does not even want to hear another side, from her's.

But I lost the close contact with it some time ago and can`t remember exactly. If the people of the great U.S.A. would have voted with minds in the last election, we would not be in the spot we are today. Mike, isn`t it true that the current crisis really started during Bush`s presidency? ........................... .................. and Obama`s main fault today is that he didn`t keep his promise to clean up the mess after Bush?? How much truth is in it?

Bush did not start this, it is all our new leader, and his people. But you can go back to Clinton, who wanted all to have homes, even if they could not pay for them. Bush kept the war from coming here. Some day history will tell the true story on what a great president he was. But not until we again have a free press, not one that is slanted.
