Polish children are among the most represented group on social networking sites among European kids in the 9-12 age bracket, a new report from the European Commission shows.

The European Commission survey found that 58 percent of Polish youngsters have personal profiles on such major sites as Facebook, MySpace, Netlog or the Polish Nasza Klasa. This ranks them in third place, together with their Danish peers.

Only Dutch kids with a 70 percent record and their Lithuanian equals have outdistanced the young Poles. By comparison, the rate of social networking presence among French kids up to 12 years of age is one in four, while the European average is 40 per cent.

The European Commission report draws attention to the danger inherent in not applying any precautions by such young people in securing their personal data files and leaving them widely accessible.

This makes them especially prone to paedophile assaults and an easy target for various online frauds, is the warning from Brussels.

I must say that if somebody is responsible he won't do anything wrong in the Net. This is very helpful for me for example to search information. Of course it's bad when someone using it in bad way.

And what, in your mind is a bad way? They have controls that you can put on this, so children can not go to adult sites.

What controls? Not all have controls.
I mean that kids can visit adults websites but also on the Net teens are wrighting bad things about people from the school. They are not talking that they don't like some persons into face. They rather wright it for example on the Facebook.

This is the job or good parents to control. Bad parents will often have bad children, but not all the time. Teachers, parents, and family friends, must do there job to help make good children. The prisons are full of what were bad children, without any one who wanted to help form better lifes for them. Do be a uncarring person, help make good adults, out of what could have been bad children. I try to do my share, do you?

Yes but parents should also trust their children. For example my mother doesn't know a lot of computers. So she can't control me but I know what is bad and good for me and I'm not using that my mum a little knowledge of computers.
I'm also trying to do my share.

But your Mom, by example set for you, will help you. Some don't have this good example set for them. What we do need, is more good parents, who care, and others who will help on this.

I am not always get on with my mom but I respect her and her decisions.
Good parents it's the basic thing because parents shows children how to live what is good and bad.

Children lear from example set by parents, and family, and friends. Teachers also help in some case. As parents, we must set a good example for all.

Yes but it's funny that in the school we hear that parents are teaching us what is good and what is bad and it's not school fault that we are doing sth wrong. We should learn good manners from home. And parents say to us: They didn't teach you at school how to behave?

Being a parent is a full time job, if you want to do it correct. Some times, no mater what you teach them, some turn out bad. But it looks like you did not.

I'm really young and I'm not thinking about children but I want to be the best mother. I know it's very hard because I'm not always a good daughter. My mum is the person who is my role model.

She will some day be a great mother, like the one she has, unless she changes by the way of many youngest today. I don't think she will change, any way I hope not.

Oh sometimes I'm sneezing on the lesson but it's a joke, you know
I will try to be a good mother, I must say that now I love children. I've got two little cousins and I know how to deal with them.
Even if they praise me now I'm not stupid enough to rest on our laurels.

Just make sure you wait, until done with school, and after you marry a good Polish guy, and are all set, to become a mother. Many here in the USA, have children for the income, from the state and federal governmanent, many by several guys, who don't stick around. But this won't be you, I am sure.

I'm sure that I'm responsible and if I want to have a children it will be my choice not an accident.
I know some girls which are pregnant and are in my age. I want to study first, get a job.
