i didn't say they don't or shouldn't but look at the numbers sometime.. GM's CEO made more money then all their workers put together... how does that make any sense? i can't even imagine how you can completely blame the workers for GM's fall..

Asking for more money than they are worth, and benefits added on, and pension that are high, and not working with the protection of the unions.

Most CEO's make far more money than most would think. If someone did not think they were worth it, they would not get it. I could be different if you are the CEO, and I know you would not turn it down.

Mike i have no idea how you can say both of these things with a straight face.. amazing. how were these CEOs worth the money when they ran the company into the ground.. who are you kidding?

No one had to pay them, if they did not want them. And some times you get what you pay for. Many great CEO's lead there company to success.

This is why I say the Post Office here, is very poor, and overcharged. This is why many are force to go to others mail service. This should not be the case. Our government should be able to give us the best service, and a lower price. Mike I don't think you should knock the Postal Service quite so much. Yes, their costs have gone up, but ALL costs have gone up. Imagine how much it costs for all that gas to move the millions of pieces of mail they deal with each day. They have nothing to do with what happens to items when they reach their destination countries. Blame those national postal services, if the countries even have them... It is still a pretty good deal when you can send a letter across the country, three thousand miles for $.44. What other private service could give you delivery to YOUR HOME six days a week? Let's count our blessings for having the postal service that we do.

This is just what many tell me. I do remember when if you sent a letter across town, they would get it the next day. Not now, if could take several days, to get there now. Is that good service?

AP - President Barack Obama is dispatching 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan, accelerating a risky and expensive war buildup, even as he assures the nation that U.S. forces will begin coming home in July 2011. The first new Marines will join the fight by Christmas.
Hey, I detect some contradiction here. Obama promised to stop wars and withdraw troops. Not only hasn`t he done it but he even increases the US engagement.
Mike, despite all differences, you must be happy that continues the politics of GW Bush.

He is just doing what he is told, he does not have a brain of his own. And he thinks he could be re-elected.
