Why do so many Americans, just do nothing, to stop this bad leadership we have, that is spending like they have the money, and don't? Our grandchildren and great grandchildren will be paying off this bad spending in many years to come. We don't need, nor want socialized medicine, and cut the aid to the old, and those who need help, not just those who do not want to work, stay home have children, do drugs and drink all day long, and some than go out and steal from others, who work hard for what they have. Time for ALL AMERICANS TO STAND UP AND SAY NO.

This is just what I am saying, most set back waiting for others to do it. We, all, now, must take action. This is all of our lives, here in the U.S.A. Read all the news, listen to all the radio and T.V. stations, not just those who are controlled by government. Talk to others, and take action. STOP THIS BAD GOVERNMENT, NOW.

I know this was a joke, but not a good one. We just need the good old leadership we once had, and will again someday have, if there is anything left.

This goes to show what I said is correct, no one cares, they leave it for the next person to do.
WE ALL HERE IN THE U.S.A., MUST STAND UP AND FIGHT, AND STOP THIS NOW.

This makes me very mad, to think no one from the U.S.A. in this fine group, has anything to say on this. Why?

Mike,
I don't think the proposed health care plan is perfect by any means, but I do think that the U.S. needs to make some changes to the health care system. Please give some thought to what the two of us have experienced.
We have both recently had some issues with our health, including costly tests, surgeries, and hospital stays. As difficult and frightening as those times have been, we have both been fortunate enough to not have the added burden of wondering how we were going to pay for all of those medical bills in full.
We are lucky, Mike - we don't have to decide between putting food on our family's table or paying health insurance premiums or medical bills in full. Not everyone is so fortunate. Yes, it is true that some choose not to work, but look at our current unemployment stats - there are a lot of people out there who DO want to work and can't find work, or else what they can find does pay very well and/or doesn't have offer a good health insurance plan (or if it does, it is very expensive).
Just standing up and saying "No" doesn't help these people. We need to have an alternate plan.

I had the best doctors, and hospital care, and it cost me nothing, since I served in the service. Many here just don't want to better them self, by working, and giving up drugs, drinking, and so on. They would rather have un-wed children so that you and I can pay for them, and have there boyfriend out holding up people, to pay for there drugs and drinking, and along the way, if the boyfriend shoots and kills someone, it is our fault, for not giving them more.

Mike Mike, I agree that we have some serious problems in this country. I do think it is important to clarify the out-of-wedlock children issue, though. Not all of these children end up being a "burden" to the government. Personally I have found it a bit surprising how many celebrities have been having children out of wedlock in recent years, and it doesn't seem to faze many people - in fact it almost seems to have become a trend. Then again, not only can they afford these children, they lavish them with excess everything. It does bother me when people who cannot afford the children they already have continue to have more children. I believe that some states do cap the amount of welfare these families can receive, but it varies. But that still does not address the issue I brought up - meeting the health care needs of those who are out of work and do not have/cannot afford health insurance.

In our hospitals today, those who can't pay, don't and they get the same service as all. The tax payer pays for their services, now, so we don't need this costly change. The law, here in the U.S.A., today, is no one can be turned away for service due to the fact that they can't pay.

The law, here in the U.S.A., today, is no one can be turned away for service due to the fact that they can't pay. Mike I believe that is the case for urgent and/or emergency care, but not necessarily for preventative care. For example, if a family does not have health insurance, they may opt to not get a flu vaccination. I don't know what a flu shot costs in full (retail cost) - I would guess somewhere between $100-200 - but I can guarantee that if one of those family members comes down with the flu and requires hospitalization, it is going to cost the taxpayers a heck of a lot more than a couple hundred dollars. Preventative care would also include other things, such as cholesterol tests and mammograms, that could catch potentially life-threatening diseases in earlier and more treatable stages.

Here in the U.S.A. flu shots were around $10.00 to $20.00, but most got them for free. Also all the pre-school shots kids needed are free here.
I don't want Communism or Socialism forced on me, by our leaders.
No one here, is ever turned down for free health care.

Mike usa is only screwed up because of bush and his ilk. obama is trying to fix it.. unfortunately bush was spending money like a drunken sailor, getting the world into wars, etc.. what did you expect? it's going to take a lot of money and time to fix this mess. you really can't blame obama for any of this.. he has been in the high office for only 7 months.. bush had 8 years to destroy this country.. it's going to take more then just obama term/s to fix this mess.

Loco,
Your friend, our leader, not by my choice has spent trillions of dollars, without any results. We had to go to war, if we did not fight them there we would have to fight them here, and I don't want that. He has done more harm in his short time in office than any other could have done in two terms, or more. I will see you in the bread line, next year, since you neither are black.

Any one more want to say what you think of ACORN?
I would love to hear from some one who thinks they are great, but Loco, has not been on in the past few days.
I would love to know why any one would think they do good things. If they do, what are they? Any thing for the white?

I am not glad, and you are helping it, by sticking up for them, your leader, you picked, and if you could, would have voted for him. We, you and I must stand up to these no good leaders, and tell them what we think, and get people behind us, to start action, and next time, those of us who can and do vote, vote the best man for all, not just a few, or what he may do for you, only. Thank God we still have Mitch, and his leadership carried us into one of the only states, not stuck in debit, and with a surplus, that he made, and kept.
