This survey is seriously skewed. Since men can take the survey, but they cannot give birth, they won't have the same perspective that women do on this matter! Therefore, the results of the survey will be flawed...totally unscientific! ;D

Besides, in the poll question I said mother/father, and these two are almost the same responsibilities when a child is concerned, aren`t they?

I voted no. I think it is already difficult to bring an new homo sapiens to this world. Bringing a Neanderthal artificially to the world would be a grave mistake in my opinion. You don't know the health, mental and physical risks. Such a Neanderthal would be the only of is sort, and that would create the threat of isolation, exploitation (freakshow, human zoo circumstances), depression and loneliness.

I voted yes because I was thrilled at the prospect of acquiring more knowledge, finding out about them and us too. But after reading your reasonable arguments I see I was too rash! Indeed, it could be a new Frankenstein`s monster.

If I were to give birth to a Neanderthal, then I would have something amazing and interesting to write about and capture people's imagination, and get them to start posting on this forum again. Perhaps it would be worth it...

It would definitely be worth it, since nothing else is working to get people back and posting...
