Unfortunately their are nutcases everywhere. Some people have no boundaries and respect of the propperty of others or public propperty. It is actually sad for these people themselves, because it shows their primitive being and lack of common sense and social skills. In general people don't vandalize nice old buildings in city centres. Even grafitti artist avoid such object to spray their paint. They look for tunnels, empty walls on ugly buildings or elsewhere.
Did someone had problems with the owner of this building?

Is that Aleje Ujazdowskie?? Who did it? The site belongs to an artist called Zienia. Rumours from the online forum published under the photos suggested that he is gay and his ex-partner did it as an act of vengeance for dropping him.

In that case we cannot speak of vandalism, just a family affair. We are not talking about reasons now. Pouring paint over a building is still vandalism. Vandalism is the behaviour attributed originally to the Vandals, by the Romans, in respect of culture: ruthless destruction or spoiling of anything beautiful or venerable.[1] The term also includes criminal damage such as graffiti and defacement directed towards any property without permission of the owner.

Bo,
This is a sickening phenomenon of our time. I don't think that except from wars and civil wars, in the past, people would'nt destroy graves. Unfortunately in the Netherlands the same things happen.

Political vandalism - leftist MP member`s office: Slogans suggest that patriotic WW2 soldiers who were executed by Polish communists will be avenged.

Bo, it seems that 'Inkê pom¶cimy' alludes to profanation of the monument of one of the brightest figures in Polish history which recently took place in Kraków. The deed of profanation is to be avenged according to the author of the inscription, not the execution - at least that is how I understand it. Inka - was underground name of Danuta Siedzikówna en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danuta_Siedzik%C3%B3wnaThat is how her monument in Kraków looked/s? wkrakowie2012cd.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/110.jpg?w=486&h=702To tell the truth the provocation with profanation of Inka's monument 'moved me' more than silly vandalism with 'Inke pom¶cimy'.

You are right. I am getting old because I didn`t notice the connection. Provocation is a good wording, too. Desecrated bust monument of Inka:

Bo.,
Unfortunately after visiting Warsaw in August 2006 I got the impression that there exists another radical group next to Neo-Nazi's and that group of Polish lunatics in my opinion could be called Neo-Stalinists or Neo-Communists. These lunatics had sprayed their Communist agitprop in vandalist style on beautiful restored buildings of Krakowskie Przedmieście. Red paint and Hammer and sickle signs, with an recognisable abbreviation of some radical Marxist-leninist group. I thought that it was Stalnist because I saw the heads of Lenin and Stalin in these vandals signs.
In a city and capital of a country that suffered so much under Stalinism and Polish communism after that, that graffiti was a great insult. It's like a Swastica on the Jewish Historical Museum of Amsterdam.

I hate to see things like this. Why, why , why? Firstly, the Imp of Perverse. Secondly, for many humans, the pleasure of destruction is stronger than the pleasure of creation.

If I caught them, I would take great pleasure in forcing the culprits to clean up their work and that of others.

Clean up but with toothbrushes only! Hahaha! Bit sadistic but entirely appropriate That`s a method invented by sadistic corporals to teach restive privates some respect for army rules. Also, in prisons or concentration camps for political opponents.
