He is a short update on my health. On Thursday the 12th. I have to go to the Hine Veterans Hospital, in Maywood. Il. for some test, and I don't know how long this could take, if I have to stay, and what kind of test, I will be given. It could even end with my surgery, I don't know yet, so I may be gone for some time. I will let you all know when I get back, what when on.

He said that he was going for treatment on Feb. 12th and that was the last day he logged on. Let's hope all is well. I hope he is okay, too. I have thought about him often over the past two weeks. It sounded as though the first step was the cancer test and then appropriate treatment based on the results. Let's hope that the cancer test came back negative and that his recovery from the corrective surgery that he anticipated having to undergo is going well.

Thank you all for caring for me, and my condition.
I have returned, without any answers yet, and will be going back on Friday the 6th. for yet another test.
It is hardest, not knowing what is going to happen, and when.
I will let you all know, when I know something new.
Again, thanks for all your caring for me, and God Love all of You.

To those who care, I am still awaiting word if what I have is Cancer or not, and if I will need surgery. This Wednesday the 13th. I go to another hospital for more test, and they will try and get a sample, to see, if it is cancer, and what I will need do next. After this test, and if they get a sample, it will take two weeks more or less, than I will know what is next. This is driving me nuts, not knowing, what I have, and will it shorten my life, and how much. The waiting is the hard part. I hope all goes well, since, I want to return to Poland, the land of my forefather's, and visit all my friends and family, again. POLAND RULES!!!!!

Hi all, here is a update on my health. One the 13th. I went to Loyola Hospital to do the test, and take the sample. This went O.K. but after much pain, on the 16th. I checked into Hines Veterans Hospital, where I spent a week. They did find, it was not cancer, but would have to be removed, before it does become cancer, some time in later part of July, they think. Now I am home with many pills to take, and not up to 100% yet, only around 70% but getting better each day. The pills run out on the 28th. and than I am to be 100% but we will see. I go back for some more test, on June 3rd. or the 8th. I will have to check. But this is where I am now.

For those who care,
Today I spent much time, at Hines Veterans Hospital, and after talking with the surgery team, I was told that the mass they found must be removed, since it is growing. This is planned for July 13th. and in talking with the lead doctor who will do this, it will take anywhere from six to eight hours, and several things along with the mass will have to be removed. I will be in the hospital for around eight days, the first five with a breathing tube in my mouth, and after this, if all goes well, I will be given liquids, and when able to, could be eight days, I will go home, for three to six weeks light duty, no hard work, or lifting anything, and so on. I meet again with them on July 6th. to go over everything and for a EKG and some more test, to see that I can take this surgery. The doctor said, very few people die during this surgery, but some have other problems. They are still not sure if it is cancer or not, but could turn so, if not removed, and it is still growing. I know everything will turn out good for me, since the good die young and everyone knows I am old now. Plus, I want to make no less than one more trip to Poland.

What I like the most about you is your humour. Life is so much easier with it. As Jeanne said, you are tough. You will fight this little something together with your doctors. And we will be waiting for you here.

Mike, it is good all the dates have been settled and you know what to expect and when. Always, the worst thing is waiting. Now, just have an operation, get rid of the alien and come back to us as soon as possible.
