pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Festiwal_Piosenki_RadzieckiejIt took place in Zielona Góra in 1965 -1989. Its primary purpose was to encourage Poles to get acquainted with Soviet culture and the Russian language. Also to warm up the image of the Soviet Union. Surprisingly, some young people who took part in it and won prizes later became known rock and pop stars or actors. They didn`t care about the suspicious atmosphere around the festival - they sang in Russian but their songs didn`t have to praise communism and spread communist propaganda. They just had a talent and wanted to take advantage of it no matter how. Michał Bajor won the first prize as a 16 year old boy: an interview with him film.interia.pl/wiadomosci/news-michal-bajor-juz-sie-wykochalem,nId,3322487 Izabela Trojanowska Czesław Niemen
