This cute little fellow is the jumping spider ("skakun" in Polish) - they usually don't weave a web, but catch their prey by jumping on it (eek! lol). It's not cute! The fact that they can jump is even more scary. I knew about jumping spiders because I had a close encounter with one in a toilet in the south of France.......enough said lol! I don't think we have them over here, or I just haven't encountered one yet... |

encounter with one in a toilet in the south of France.......enough Black widows are notorious for residing under toilet seat covers. Fortunately, they live in tropical countries. But now with this global warming you never know which is which. And this?  |
