I can't say I share your views....... Art is necessarily subjective; we all have different tastes, just as any work of art differently affects every single person who sees it. Sometimes it’s good just to step back and gaze at a large piece. A small image on the Internet rarely does them justice. Fangor was special because he was so avant-garde at the time. One interesting thing about him is that his works show a clear progression from representative to non representative styles over time. He also designed the station signs for line 2 of the Warsaw metro. In time, they’ll become cherished.

I can't say I share your views....... Probably his art doesn`t look so impressive in the forum, but in the art gallery, with proper lighting and sound effects, it might be attractive.

Here's an interesting article about Fangor: niezlasztuka.net/o-sztuce/wojciech-fangor-patrzac-obraz-teleskop/That museum in Radom was smart lol I guess those paintings could be more interesting when viewed as intended by the artist - in an art gallery, since he wanted the colour to impact the space around his paintings, as far as I understand. I personally prefer representative art styles though. I like some abstract art, but more as an element of interior design. Abstract art can compelment the right interiors really well. One interesting thing about him is that his works show a clear progression from representative to non representative styles over time. Which of his styles do you prefer? And have you seen his paintings in real life (I mean those non-figurative ones)?

we all have different tastes, Of course, but i'm afraid abstract style art leaves me cold. However,I do like the first two paintings of his in the link about Fangor that Petal supplied
