Russian citizens against the war and their regime

Not many of them - sometimes single people go out to protest - but still - there are decent Russians who are against the war and claim Putin`s regime is criminal. They are arrested at demonstrations in big cities and face serious consequences - loss of job, heavy fines, persecution of family members, imprisonment. This is modern Russia - the prison of its citizens. No wonder Ukrainians are doing their best to avoid a similar fate at the hand of mad RuSSists who rule Russia now.

There are too few of those brave and decent ones to change anything in Russia. They need millions.

These people who are protesting are not without great courage...I admire them and hope their example spreads in their country.

The polls from Russia show that the majority of Russians support Putin and his war against Ukraine. That`s a pity coz it means that Russians still suffer from their imperial obsessions while we thought they had alread stopped. We were mistaken. Now it is clear that Russians need long treatment to get rid of their compulsive obsessions. I hope the West will remain resolute in keeping up this treatment as long as necessary, through sanctions and further aid to Ukraine.
