Wojciech Kazimierz "Wojtek" Siudmak (born 10 October 1942 in Wieluń) is a Polish painter, currently living in France. His works are often used as illustrations for science fiction and fantasy literature, including the Polish edition of Frank Herbert's Dune series. Some of his productions remind me of Salvador Dali. I saw Siudmak`s drawings/paintings in a sci-fiction magazine in 1980s and was amazed that such imagination was possible. Today my tastes changed a bit, I think his art is too elaborate and sophisticated, sometimes verging on kitsch, but the guy certainly has talent.     album.aufeminin.com/album/see_61428/Wojtek-Siudmak.html |

Best wishes to you and your dear wife, and I wish you many more. More wives? Yes, I was thinking about it. I haven`t told my wife yet. I am not sure of her reaction. In old Poland there was a tradition that the Head Secretary of the ruling communist party awarded such long marriages with medals. I am not sure how it is now. How about the States? Will you be rewarded for your marital endurance? |

Wojtek Siudmak.. he's my favourite artist ever!  I love his works especially "Idyll" as I'm crazy about butterflies x] Once did I try to paint sth similar ;] it was inspired by "Idyll" I would never paint like he does but I think it was worth trying Siudmak rules  |

If you also add that you like Wiedźmin by Sapkowski, I will think we used to be unity but got seperated in childhood. Yes, those butterflies are really intriguing. To be able to paint like that, one must be really gifted. As I am not gifted artistically, I became a teacher. ;D ;D ;D What about you? Do you study English with a view to teach it at school? |
