Warsaw is a great place to live, and work. It is much like Chicago, escept all speak Polish, but many do speak English also. I would be happy, if I could spend the rest of my file living there, but am not sure I could afford this without working, and who in Poland would hire me, since I can't even speak Polish.

I agree Warsaw is prsesntly a great place to work, . It is almost like the money lies on the streets situation. And she has this mixture of foreign workers and local Poles which gives the city an air of 'internationalness' without loosing it's Polishness. Hopefullu that will not change... But it is not as great place to live. MOst of all it is the second most traffic-jammed city in the EU, after EU's capital - Brussels.

Don't mind the traffic, but do you think, I as a Private Investigator, doing this work for over twenty-five years, and at my age, could find work in Warsaw? I could take most any type, fair paying job that was offered me. What do you think?

Imagine you need a private detective where you live. Would you hire a Pole who spent two months there and only understands some English. Even if he, as a Pole, is a hard working person.

I would if he knew his stuff better than the others, or a new, different method. Or even a new view on the job. I meet with some Investigators in Warsaw, on one of my visits to Poland, and yes they are hard working, good people, but far behind in training, and the ways for today.

People are people, all over the world, and but for the training, and skills, all are much the same.

I would if he knew his stuff better than the others, I wouldn't! ;D You can't beat a local. He knows the 'inner part of the city', has contacts, knows who is who. Knows language. Is an insider not an ousider.

Sometimes in my work, in fact most often, a street person will talk with a unknown outsider first, since they think you are not the law.
This is what I learned in over twenty-five years in doing my job.

Hey, guys, why don`t you join forces and create an effective team of private detectives? Mike would contribute his experience into the team, while Tufta the knowledge of the insider, including the language. One day you would get famous and even a film might be based on your adventures. There were hundreds film made about two contrasting cops, who in fact, are inseperable. Look Showtime Seven etc etc

I could work for a large company who would give me clients, and I do the work, as I have in the past.
Bo,
I like your idea, and it could work for both of us.
