:)how well will Poland do? Polish soccer team is unpredictable. You never know,,, The Dutch coach is optimistic, but he has to be so to infuse more guts into players. Polish team lost 2:0 with Germany. Players disappointed, as usual. Amusingly, the player who scored two goals for the German team was Lukas Podolski,, born in Poland to Polish parents who moved to Germany when he was 2. In another forum a few posters accused him of treason, that he shouldn`t behave like that, score goals for the German team at the cost of his compatriots etc etc. What do you think? And as usual most Polish supporters showed their best. www.tvn24.pl/-1,1553098,wiadomosc.html

See the Germans can't win without the Polish!!!! Yes. right! Very amusing...hahahaha On the other side, the best Polish player was Brazilian, he adopted Polish citizenship not long ago, nationalistic racist Polish supporters hold a grudge against him because he isn`t Polish. They put out a banner: Roger, you will never be Polish. Roger Guerreiro, a Brazilian player who joined the Polish national team after Polish President officially granted him the citizenship. Mike, Poles can be so f...ing intolerant morons sometimes. Especially soccer fans.. Do you understand now why I am totally uninterested in soccer, the favourite Polish sport? ?? I don`t care whatsoever if the Polish team wins or loses 100:0. I don`t want to be counted as one of those morons even if there are only a few..... Do you think my standpoint is unpatriotic??? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

It seems my kids are conscious Europeans. Tomorrow Poland plays Austria in soccer championships, and they declared they are for Austria. It is strange because we didn`t talk about soccer at home as I am not interested at all. They must have talked about it at school.

Guys, there is a draw. The referee ordered a penalty in the last minute and Austrians scored a goal. Poles are outraged! I must stop writing because my wife is coming to me for an exciting date. A few pics for the last minute: Polish fan Austrian fan Poles Austrians What a striking similarity!

just watched the second half Poland did not deserve that think the Austrian player who pulled the shirt new exactly what he was doing Poland should have won Polish fans are mad at the British referee. They want to find the guy and harm him. They make clear allusions that he took a bribe and rigged the match. Before they find him, they have put various posters on the Net: Austrian coach thanks the referee You can prevent disaster. Protect yourself. Polish team is out and the fans are depressed. Polish team lost despite cheering from Polish President.

A big poster with the unlucky referee`s countenance is hanging in Warsaw. Everybody can write comments on it, after filling in all space, the poster will be sent to referee`s address. Another news caused an uproar today. All sports portals all over the world , even in Tanzania, report what Polish Prime Minister said. Polish Prime Minister is critizised for his reaction to the controvercial decision. He said: As a Prime Minister I have to be calm and balanced but I wanted to kill, you know who.... For the time bveing, the referee and his family received protection.... Soccer fans can be really violent. That is why I try to stay away from this sport.... POLAND'S prime minister said yesterday that he felt like he wanted to kill Howard Webb when the English referee awarded the injury-time penalty that allowed Austria to snatch a 1-1 draw at Euro 2008. Ivica Vastic's late equaliser in Thursday's clash meant Poland had to settle for one point from their first two games in Group B. "As the prime minister I have to be balanced and collected," said keen football fan Donald Tusk. "But last night I was speaking very differently about the whole thing, I wanted to kill. sport.scotsman.com/football/Polish-PM-wanted-to-39kill39.4185783.jp
