Polish culture is mostly oriented on Poles. There are exceptions though. When I heard this ballad by Wilki (Wolves) for the first time in 1990s, I was sure it was made by a foreign group. Imagine my surprise when I found out it is a Polish song: Son of the Blue Sky

I like the song. The lyrics have some strange word mix at times, but I can easily see what they were trying to communicate. Very nice.

I know it is not the same as in the nineties, because globalization has moved forward, and besides that Poles are again a part of the international culture-music community again. But anyway, just for fun, here are several songs by Poles I recall I thought are not by Poles when hearing them on the radio accidentally.
