I cannot resist putting this crypto advertisement here hahahaha. I want to sing a song of respect to the hottest Polish spice - horseradish. We have had a lot of it recently, it goes well with eggs, sausages, ham eaten during Easter. I always buy one kind - the best comes from a producer in southern Poland, Mastalerz and the brand name is Polonaise. They have got a unique receipe, it hasn`t changed since 70s, the time when I first tried this horseradish. The label hasn`t changed, either. I think most of you who live abroad and go to Polish shops have already seen it on the shelves there. Try it - in my opinion it is the ideal horseradish available. Hot, a bit sweet and sour. The tastes I like best. It is really hot - I shed a few tears when I decorated my eggs with a too big dose of horseradish.

And as far as horseraddish is concerned I never ate anyhthing better than the one from 'Krakowski Kredens'. You should be glad ;D ;D ;D

I don't like Tesco. Carrefour is better. I like both. They have nice and cheap sea food and fish, our favourite. I don`t like Real which has lousy expensive sea food. Alma is too expensive to me. I once said I am mean. Yes, I am mean and I am proud of it. In the sense that I don`t like spending more money than it is necessary. Instead of going to Alma which is one minute from my house, I prefer to go to Carefour (two minutes) where I can find the same things but cheaper. I spend the saved money on various types of diversion during holidays. hahahaha I don`t know Krakowski Kredens. It is probably a brand concocted by clever marketing specialists to attract Warsawians, crazy for things connected with Krakow. You know, Krakowskie Przedmieście, Krakowski Kredens. Krakowski Kredens??? hahahahahaha What a name, by the way! hahahaha

Kredens - cupboard elicits the connotations of slow life in grandma's kitchen, slow food, safety, a cat in the sun, stillness in general, like in the old sepia photo. And so does Krakow, doesn't it? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D [/quote]

I just stopped by to say I LOVE horseradish, have a lot of respect for horseradish, and consume quite a bit of it!

hottest Polish spice - horseradish. I love Polish horseradish. The stuff in the UK is awful in comaparison. Polish horseradish is hotter and tastes creamier to me. I will have to look out for the Polonaise one
