anyone from these families?
I just got back from Nanticke Pa trying to find more info on frankowski family- they lived here in 1900. Busia Lillian(Ludwicka) was baptized at St Stans in 1898 now a part of St Faustina (The archdiocese of Pa decided to combine all 5 local churches renaming Holy Trinity as St F to give everyone a brand new start.
Kind of sad all that history and tradition destroyed but I guess the expense of upkeep and staff is impossible.
Anyway the family moved to Chicago sometime between then and 1918.
Busia married Alex Gontarek son Henry
Henry married Estelle Zych daughter of Stanley and Mary (Jakus) both from Dabrowa Tarnov north of Krakow
I'm in contact with Zychs any one out there from other families?
