I did not see any wild, dried Polish Mushrooms, why is this? Does anyone know of a company that will sell to us Americans, this product? I would like to buy in bulk, since, I have many who want to buy them from me. If you can, those of you in Poland, check and give me a place I can write for information as to how I can buy them and have them shipped to me.

Since they are dried, I would think you can buy them year round, am I in error? Please try and help me on this, since you can get them, only, a hour drive, to Chicago, and must pay a very high price for them. And they are the best.

Are willing to prepay my provision and 30 % of each delivery in advance? Do you want to purchase the goods cheaply on the spot or in the port of arrival, together with transport and insurance. What humidity dried mushroom you intend to buy. And most of all - what species are you interested in   |

We run a small organic eco-farm in a heavily forested, unspoilt, and unpolluted area in the west of Poland. From our base in Lubuskie we organise mushroom picking trips into the Notecka forest, pick and supply wild dried mushrooms for export to kitchens and restaurants all over Europe and the rest of the world.
50 grams of dried wild mushrooms reconstitutes into 150 to 200 grams when water is added. (200 grams is approximately 7 ounces) - see photograph of 50 g of dried Boletus Mushrooms.

Polish Borowik Wild Mushrooms
- These Borowiki (Boletus) wild mushrooms are the most prized here in Poland, the Tuscany region of Italy, and throughout the world. They are hand picked in the forests around our organic farm by our small team of experienced mushroomers, sliced, and then dried using the traditional Polish farmhouse method. In our view the flavour of a Polish forest mushroom is superior to any other wild mushroom. Boletus - the European king of mushrooms has a rich, musty flavor that enhances soups, stews, sauces, pastas and risottos or used as a flavoring in stuffings and appetizers. To use our dried Boletus (Porcini) mushrooms just soak the dry mushrooms in hot water for five minutes then use them with the liquid.

I just want, to start with, be able to supply my friends, and if this goes big, could open a store, later on. Mushrooms, from Poland in Chicago, are very high, and going up each day, last time I checked, well over $100.00 a pound, and going up, and not the good ones. I would just like to be able to reach some companies that sell them, and can, or do now, ship them to the USA. So I can reach them, and try to work out a deal. Please if you can, get the names of some of the packaged great, dried, wild, mushrooms, from Poland. I will try and get more information from them. Thank you.
