I myself find that the people of Poland, living in Poland age better than those, from Poland who now live in the USA, most off the women, why is this? Those in Poland dress better, act better, and look younger, why is this? Could it be the weather, the food, the life style, or just that living in America changes all for them? Those from Poland, living in America act like they just don't care, and most of all the women, act they want to control things for the men. Why is this? What do you think on this? I hope to get answers from both Poland and here in the USA. My research is from Chicago area, where many came to from Poland, and with those who just got here, and many who have been here for years.

Mike First explanation. In Poland we have managed to maintain our healthy life style, especially Polish food. In America Poles eat too much fast food as they imagine it will make them more American sooner.

Could be, but there must be more. Several Polish-Amerincan's that came from Poland, say, they don't eat fast foods, and try to live a life style like in Poland.

Life in Poland isn`t as stressful as in US. We have managed to keep our traditions of taking our time, while in US people work really hard throughout their active life and only have a rest and go on trips to Europe after they retire.

Third explanation Americans drive. them crazy? No, I don`t think so. Fourth explanation. Tufta and I are still staying in Poland, not leaving anywhere. That is why we can`t impress US locals with our glamourous appearance. We both look younger by about 15 years. And when at work, we behave like 20 y olds.

The Polish-American's born here, like me, are ageless. I look and act like I am 35, and I am not. I don't eat fast foods, I live a good life style, and work hard, at my own pace. I will live forever. My mother is 96 and looks and acts like 65. Just use a walker some times, and can cuss with the best of them.
