Nuclear power plants, for or against?

I don't know if there was a subject like this. I was looking and not found.
What do you think about nuclear power plants in Polan? Our neighbours have it. Most people in Poland are against. Even if one of power station will explode the radiation will reach us.
In my opinion it's good to our country to build such a think because we will have more energy to use. I'm a bit scared by what might become but I think about my future and future generations.
Nuclear power plants are everywhere around us. We should think about it. I'm curious what do you think about it?

I am not against. I agree with your arguments. Traditional power stations which burn coals are more hazardous to environment than nuclear ones.

Yes you are right about about this traditional power stations. We should build nuclear power plants because who knows what will came in the future. We can be without energy or will be dependent on others, as usual.

If built correct, there could be no problems. But if built poorly could be, who knows. There must be a law to control how they are built. This could be a great thing, bring down some cost for all.
