As just a UK resident and not able to travel at the moment this forum is my only real link to Poland while i do have communication with Poland it is not easy i have cousin in Warsaw who emails me but not regularly. From the information on my Polish family which is a bit limited. But from my own research i have learned much, but have very little details photos would be nice all i can get off the net is holiday accommodation with a bit of the scenery in the back ground. These are the places that are interest to me Sugajno (fathers home) Been told a very small place even only a crossroads in 2005 according to a book wrote by a cousin Nowe Miasto Lubawskie (nearby town) Ilawa (family living there mail contact) Brodnica (nearby town) Excuse me if i have any descriptions wrong (eg towns village or cities i can only judge by map i am here to learn)

Thanks for these Sugajno looks like how i perceived it .The book i mentioned which might be of interest to you is called A Polish Son in the Motherland by Leonard Kniffel he is a 2nd cousin from America who traced his roots and wrote a book i found out a great deal about my family from this. The pics of Nowe Miasto have just brought the book to life
