I have found a gorgeous site. Paul, a Polish chef from the USA presents Polish cuisine and methods of cooking by means of brilliant photos. I contacted him and he kindly allowed me to use the photos for our non-commercial site. I am going to gradually show the photos from Mr Chef Paul`s site but if you are too impatient to wait, you can go there immediately: www.chefpaul.net/Many recipes are in English, some not yet, but will be soon.

How do you make your Golabki? Do you use pork and beef and rice, or no rice? Do you serve it with mushroom sauce or tomato sauce? Show us with photo's please.

I can`t help you much because that`s the only dish I have never made myself, though I like eating it, on condition I leave cabbage leaves untouched on the plate. I only eat the stuffing. To my knowledge: in Poland people use minced pork mixed with rice and serve everything with tomato sauce. The photo is in another thread:

Not going to Poland, yet, but I will be gone from 17th. until around the 26th. We are going to our son's in South Carolina, and I have a few meetings there when I am there, for work, and could mean a move there later on.
