If you want to ignore a user in order not to see their posts, click a button in each user's profile box, the one on the left side of his/her post.
When clicked, it will cause you to skip that user's post/pm/calendar entry. If you are ignoring someone, anoter button is put in their mini-profile which, when clicked, unignores them.
