I thought so after I saw the woman laughing about their own jokes. In Dutch we call it " Onderbroekenlol" " undershorts fun" humor also called Off-color humor, in which a the special branche of what you call correctly -the third league comedy is a " Klucht", a " farce" comedy, with a lot of noisy, exaggerated appearances, seamingly comprmising scenes, and it is actually the middle between Operetta, a bad musical and a failed cabaret show.
