tu-f-ta...Hmmm...is that a clue as to what your site name stands for? No need to reply; hope you have a good time. Yes, tufta explained it in one of his posts. We will have to wait for him to remind us of it . You will also have to wait for me, dear guys. It is really hard to part with you but we are going on holiday at last. I have had a busy month renovating the apartment, now it is time for relax. We are leaving on Friday, for two weeks, then another place for two weeks and finally one week at the end of August. Of course, I will drop by between trips. |

Every has gone to the moon, like the song said, I guess. Why no one posting? I need some news. Mike We have just come back after 2 weeks spent in the mountains. It was a busy period as usual, a lot of woods wandering and mountain lake bathing. Now I am going to relax for a few days in (dirty) Krakow and probably we will go away again at the end of August. I am not sure about repeat summer exams in my school, I checked the mail but nothing arrived so far so probably I won`t have to attend them. |

Dear forum friends, it is so nice to come back and read all those nice & funny words. I am back from my holidays and work trip and then holidays again -so, Bo, my vacation is never as long as the teachers' one in Poland  . Jeanne, I have noticed your wondeful posts about 'country life' in the USA, I will come back to read them carefully. Gigi!! Welcome back. It is so good to read your posts again. Mike, you never change, being hard on some of our neighbours, do you? Hello to all of you, also to all those I didn't name but do remember, Loco and Paolo  And now... Hello again all of you We have visited the Baltic sea-shore , and Roztocze region (close to Ukrainian border). The weather was generally terrible although very scenic. Nontheless we did rest fine. We have had some short trips to some town and cities. The scheme of taking holidays was generally resembling the one presented by Bo. I will surely post some photos with time. Now we have a great ***attraction*** as our house needed a new roof - the works have just begun. The workers start at 7 am just over my head with some very loud machines! The driveway is full of them, the back terrace as well, they are everywhere. I am afraid to open the fridge. ;D ;DBo! since we are talking about the children sayings. Do you perhpas know the ethymology of this one: Jurek-ogórek kiełbasa i sznurek, kiełbasa uciekła a Jurek do piekła? ;D ;D |

During vacation I managed to repaint the kitchen, bathroom, toilet, sons` room, and a garage. Especially the last one`s renovation produced an astounding result. Whenever I come to the garage in the morning to get the car out, I am out of breath seeing how wonderfully white it it.
I gave up repainting my wife`s room and mine. When I realised how many books I had to remove from the shelves in both rooms, I got sick. But I am tough - I promise my room will have been done by Christmas.
