 Just been browsing the net for something topical about Christmas and Poland and found how important Christmas eve is to you as a nation i was quite humbled to say the least and your way is very different to the way we celebrate Poland's is much better the religious element has gone from this country and we are very much like sheep we follow what every one else is doing which is usually spending money and not remembering what Christmas is all about I too am guilty of forgetting but i am going to show my son the things i was not shown.So i will say to all the Polish people on this site and those connected to Poland Merry Christmas Wesolych Swiat.My cousin in Warsaw sent me a Christmas card i will write the verse as i see it and if some can translate.Na zblizajce sie swieta serdeczne zyczenia przezywania Bozego Narodzenia w zdrowiu,radosci i cieptej rodzinnej atmosferze. Kolejny zas Nowy Rok niech bedzie czasem pokoju oraz realizacji osobistych zamierzen |

We complain about communism which froze Polish economy. But paradoxically it helped Poland retain her customs. Now everything is changing on our eyes..... The translation: Wishes for the coming holiday: have a healthy, enjoyable Christmas in a family atmosphere. Let the New Year be the time of peace and fulfillment of all personal resolutions. |

We keep it alive in my home, so that my children and grandchildren will in time. It's great.
