Some post-commie scumballs have again defaced the Krak¨®w memorial to the First Polish Officer in NATO, Col. Ryszard Kukli¨½ski who supplied American wtih the Evil Empire's secret plans. I doubt if Michnik was actually involved physically, but it was his rag that has called Kukli¨½ski a traitor and Jaruzelski a hero, and apparently there are those in Poland who actually believe the crapola Gazeta Wybi¨®rcza publiishes..Apparently Michnik has never heard of Konrad Wallenrod.

I have just looked through the History Board and cannot find any seperate thread about him. Thanks for reminding us. Story in short: Col. Kukliñski spied on Polish communist army as well as on Soviet military installations in Poland and Eastern Europe in 1970s and 80s. His reason: to save Europe from a nuclear war during which Poland would be turned into a heap of ashes. In 1981, Kukliñski with his family were secretly taken out of the country by American agents. He received a new identity, yet, his two sons died in mysterious circumstances, probably killed by communist agents. What did he reveal? E.g., plans of Soviet military for WW3 in Europe: Seven Days to the River Rhine was a top secret limited war game exercise developed in 1979 by the Warsaw Pact. It depicted the Soviet bloc’s vision of a seven-day atomic war between NATO and Warsaw Pact forces. The plans predicted that NATO would launch a nuclear attack on the Vistula river valley in a first strike scenario, which would prevent Soviet bloc commanders from sending reinforcements to East Germany to prevent a NATO invasion of that country. The plan expected as many as two million Polish civilians would die in such a war, which would essentially destroy the country. With options limited, a Soviet counter-strike against West Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands and Denmark would take place in an effort to slow an invasion.Much more en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryszard_Kukli%C5%84skiPlans of Polish People`s army`s attack on Western Europe which was supposed to clear the path for Soviet troops: Neutral plan of 3rd World War - Polish cities would be destroyed by NATO retaliation after German cities were anihilated by Warsaw Pact nuclear strikes. East Poland would be destroyed too, to break Soviet supply lines. Defaced bust in Krakow
