In 2018 there were about ten da Vinci robots in Poland. I don`t know the statistics now. The
usefulness of robots is undeniable, yet they generate huge costs of treatment, e.g., the operation of prostate cancer can cost 30.000 PLN - about 8.000 $. That`s much more than a traditional operation.
