A Polish factory is giving the finishing touches to furniture for a hotel where the wedding guests of Prince William and Kate Middleton will stay.
The furniture is to arrive on the spot on Monday, and Pole Dariusz Bergier and his assistants have been working on the pieces for a month now.
“One is a cabinet, which on the outside looks antique but inside, when you open it, contains state-of-the art systems, with sliding shelves and doors,” he said.
Everything has to be in place by 29 April, the happy couple's big day.
Dariusz Bergier also fondly remembers his assignment for the famous contemporary Polish composer and conductor Krzysztof Penderecki.

Among the most recommended products of Poland, Christ of Nations, Anno Domini 2013 is sex and violence. And programming in general :-) www.ivona.com/en/Sex in computer games? Can you share sth more? I play only strategic games so I have no idea what you are talking about. IVONA is very good example, though .

I wasn't sure what the subject of the thread requires from me Recommended products - little known but worth recommending or well-known. Yes, sex and violence is everywhere now, including computer games. I am no big player either and especially no big player in the games Polish studios make - but they are great worldwide hits. Witcher, Call of Juarez, Sniper, Enemy Front to name a few. This thread is for non-food products. E.g., I remember reading a few articles about Polish hit yachts. business.inquirer.net/6893/smooth-sailing-for-made-in-poland-yachts GDANSK – The contrast is as stark as it is improbable: a dazzling, brand-new super yacht glides across the harbour of the communist-era Gdansk Shipyard, the birthplace of new Poland but the epitome of industrial decay. Sleek, sophisticated, luxurious and competitively priced Polish yachts are reinventing the country’s all-but-defunct ship-building industry with a sporty capitalist edge. [...] In Poland, “we put more soul into our yachts — that’s how I see it,” he said.

friends had told me beforehand that not all of it is genuine Hmm, I haven`t heard of cases that unaware tourists bought false stuff. There are no warnings about it so it doesn`t happen often. Quality products have certificates so to avoid scams one should buy in regular shops.

here's more amber jewellery for you I love this jewellery! Especially the bracelet - it has my name written all over it Bee jewellery is very popular over here too. my brother gave his future wife an amber ring as an engagement ring lol Not a diamond, not a zirconia even, it had to be Polish amber I think that's lovely......but then I've never really been traditional. Never particularly liked diamonds either! I would've been happy with the Polish amber. Quality products have certificates so to avoid scams one should buy in regular shops. Glad to hear this.I am going back quite a few years though, it was 2013 when I went to Gdańsk.

I am going back quite a few years though, it was 2013 when I went to Gdańsk. You puzzled me with the issue. I just googled false amber and there are practically no results concerning it. One article which mentioned that vending machines sold ordinary rocks instead of amber. And another one which admits that you can buy artificial amber when a tiny particle is used as a part of the jewellery piece. Hence, two suggestions - buy at certified places and avoid small particles - try to find a really big one. E.g,

try to find a really big one. E.g, Hahaha! It's a bit too bling for me With regards to fake amber, I'm only repeating what friends told me, I've not read anything to say otherwise.

Apart from artistic pottery, also artistic lace products. I am looking for a thread about it but can`t find it. What a shame.
