Wow!!...amazing vistas from there! Where in Poland is it located?
And...was it built to be a weather station, or was it originally built for some other purpose?

Great photos! And I am equally impressed by your ability to form new subjects... from the almost heavenly mountain tops to the most mundane I think it is worth reminding that prior to 1945 the highest located building in Poland was another observatory with a funny name - Bia³y S³oñ -White Elephant. It is located in a very secluded Carpathian range of Czarnohora, terrains Poland lost due to Nazi German and Soviet Russian aggresion in WWII. The observatory is now in ruins

Kasprowy Wierch is a peal in the Tatras, close to Zakopane. It was built as a meteo station right away. Another frequent top object is a cross. Bieszczady Tatras
