The Land of My Mother -- Polish-American documentary movie //with absolutely amazing pictures of Poland. The movie showing scenes in colour of pre-war Poland. It is narrated by Eva Curie, daughter of the Polish scientist Marie Sk³odowska-Curie and produced by The Polish Information Center in New York in 1941.

Wow, I learnt a few amazing facts. E.g., Bygdoszcz was called the Venice of the East. The Town Hall in Poznan was so black, today white.
At the same time, I can see how conservative Poles are. More or less the same things were revered before the war as are today. ;D ;D ;D
