He sure has Uncltim, I enjoy Easter with my parents. We enjoyed watching the yearly the St Matthew Passion, (also frequently St Matthew's Passion), by Johann Sebastian Bach ( written in 1727 ). The story of Easter according to the Gospel. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_Matthew_Passionpl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pasja_wed%C5%82ug_%C5%9Bw._Mateusza_(BWV_244)For some reason the St Matthew Passion is a big tradition in the Netherlands, next to the Easter mass, Orbi et Orbu in the Vatican and our Mahler tradition. Ofcourse the St Matthew Passion fits in the Easter time, but why we have such a tradition and other countries doesn't is a mystery for me. Cheers, Pieter P.S.- By the way, christians, atheists, jews and others all love the St Matthew Passion for musical reasons. In the same time it is deeply christian, spiritual and tells the story of the suffering of Jesus and his sacrifice.

Nice images Tufta. We have the cold now, but not the snow. The weather is sober over here in the Netherlands. Not a spring, but stil a dry, cold and chilly climate. Everyone is waiting and longing for a nice spring over here. P.S.- Arnhem is in the east of the Netherlands, so we have not the mild sea climate of the West ( Holland region), but the harsh German continental land climate ;D ( influence) over here.

Everyone is waiting and longing for a nice spring over here. Here in the northeastern U.S. we are still having cold weather! We have not experienced any signs of spring yet, except maybe a few early brave flowers that have poked their heads up, and some of the birds that migrate back here. Both the flowers and the birds must be a little bewildered as to what is going on...as are we humans...
