Hello Visitors to this Forum,
As you probably know (since you are visiting here), this is a great place to learn about Polish culture, people, and the geography of that beautiful country.
While the administrator seems to have abandoned the forum, that shouldn't stop us from carrying on some conversation here. I encourage you, if you would like to keep this forum going and not lose all these educational postings, please contribute!!

When this forum was started, it was meant to be a place to share and learn about Polish culture. We hope that we can continue that mission. If you visit this forum regularly or occasionally and have an interest in any aspect of Polish culture, please post and share!
If we do not keep the forum going with its original purpose in mind, all the wonderful educational posts will be lost...all the beautiful photos that give us a window into Poland will disappear!

I'm happy to see that Proboards is responding to inappropriate advertising and postings on this forum. Let's all be vigilant and not respond to posters who violate the integrity of this forum and its purpose, which is to share information about Polish culture, history and life!
If you enjoy visiting this forum, please just post something and share your impressions with us so that we can keep this forum alive!
Thank you!

Unfortunately someone who is posting their advertising for their "witchcraft oil" on this board has attached photos of sacred oils used in the Catholic faith. That should give everyone a clue as to the fraudulent nature of these postings!

Dear Visitors to this forum,
We are still hoping that some of you will post something while you are visiting. Maybe just a comment on something you see or read here? Or tell us what is going on in your corner of the world.
If no one posts, others begin to post trashy advertisements which really have no place in a forum like this!

I think it's becoming increasingly difficult to maintain forums as we know them in the age of social media. It's often so much easier to communicate on Facebook, for example, than it is in a forum, even though it's a very different kind of communication altogether.
Forums used to be a dominant form of communication on the internet once upon a time. I don't think their relevance or importance have diminished in any way, but their use certainly has. Again - social media seems to be the overwhelming cause.
It's hard work to maintain a forum these days, certainly.

Well, yes, you must be right, we are sort of dinosaurs which refuse to become extinct.
