To those of you who are Polish or of Polish descent: At Easter, do you have "lamb cake" made in a metal mold? It is not meat, but a regular confection cake made to look like a reclining lamb. I always make one, though I am two generations removed from my grandparents who immigrated from Poland to the U.S. I frost it with white frosting, surround it with coconut "grass" colored green, and put a festive violet ribbon around it's neck. It makes a lovely centerpiece for the Easter table.
Does anyone else do this, or remember it from their childhoods?
