In these photos, I believe the shock value to the children comes from the large number of slain animals.
I'm not someone who supports hunting for pure sport in this day and age. I do think that it is acceptable to kill a wild animal to use it for meat. My grandsons on the farm are being exposed to hunting (which I'm not too happy about), but they are being taught to kill only for food and to only kill as much as they need.
My son-in-law has hunted wild turkey for their holiday dinners, and if he has the time, he also hunts deer, which is traditional in their part of the country (Vermont)and part of the local culture. And, of course, they freeze and eat the venison if he should be successful in his quest.

Similarly to you, I bear no grudge against hunters, human creates have hunted since they climbed down trees and walked upright in the savannas. Some men can`t resist the urge. Let it be. Yet, I dropped fishing 20 years ago as a too cruel activity. And I would feel a little bit uneasy if any member of my family took up hunting. Killing isn`t the most necessary thing you must do in life nowadays.  However, I do feature some characteristics of a hunter.  Yesterday, I brought home 4 pounds of Polish home-made sausage from a private supplier who occassionally comes to my workplace and sells meat produce. My family laughed that my function is of a prehistoric hunter. |

Scandal after a successful hunt. Objectors lay down next to exhibited dead animals. First, the police tried to drag them away, but hunters asked officers to let the objectors do their job.    |

Concerns have been voiced several times recently about the participation of kids in hunting. Kids are believed to experience shock upon seeing bloody carcasses of wild animals. Most of them are hunters` kids, but sometimes this participation is accidental - school or kindergarten kids just come across hunters` trophies on trips to the woods etc. Objectors are trying to have a legal ban on such practices introduced. So, the Parliament voted such a ban a few months ago, making hunters furious - no minors under 18. In one of my clients` house I saw a hunting magazine with a front page title: We shall get our kids back.  |

You know that I am certainly not an advocate of hunting, but it seems to me that if people are going to continue to hunt, it is perhaps a wise thing to do to introduce their children to it through their own efforts where they can ensure that the children learn proper safety techniques concerning the implements used, plus how to ensure the protection of themselves and other hunters around them. It`s a valuable opinion. I still haven`t decided on my final opinion yet. |

The hunter who nailed the injured fox to a tree is going to meet with a prosecutor. I believe he should lose his licence for life for this bestiality.  |
