I came home from our mountain holidays for a while. Our youngest cat had an accident while we were away, she broke her spine and died before I arrived home to see her. I am in a really depressed state now, I cried a lot because we all loved the cat, she was my boys` favourite as she was so crazy. Her liveliness made her special, but it also became the cause of her death. I got this cat from one of my students, now I will have to tell her the cat she wanted somebody to take good care of is dead. It is a really crushing feeling to know that you let somebody down. I will also have to tell it to my kids. I haven`t decided yet if I will take the cat with me to the holiday site to bury it in the forest or wait with it till we come back from the mountains. I think I will take the cat tomorrow to get over with it. I had wanted this cat to be a replacement for our two cats which are very old now, the oldest is 17, her time is coming soon. But life loves playing f...ing tricks on us. I am posting two pics of the cat which were processed together with Warszawa photos. And I am crying a lot... It is not a shame when a man cries... Please, don`t comment on the accident and cat`s death. It will be better to remain silent ...... I have to live through it....

Good news intertwine with bad one. My oldest cat is slowly dying. She is 18 years old, born in May 1991 and has been with me since my return from the USA in October. A good companion. She still sleeps with me, on my pillow next to my head, we exchange positive fluids between each other. None of our cats was so fond of sleeping in my bed. Nothing can be done to stop it. I will certainly miss her. We have lived through good and bad times and we will never forget her. Goodbye, Princess...

Just remember that you also gave her a wonderful cat life as well as her giving you such good companionship. It was a two-way street and you did well for each other...the best kind of relationships.

The cat died yesterday. When I came home in the evening, she was still warm. She had passed so peacefully, without a moan, in a sleep, in her own home. A beautiful death.
